Why should I fit Road-style Bar End Weights?

Motorcycle handlebars are susceptible to high frequency vibrations, which can become uncomfortable on the rider’s hands. One easy change a motorcycle owner can make is replacing KTM’s OE bar ends with EP’s uniquely designed handlebar weights.  EP Bar End Weights for the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT are manufactured from stainless steel for additional weight plus the bike-specific design is easy to install. This option of the ‘road’ variant gives greater vibration reduction over the miles for longer rides.

Note: To fit EP Bar End Weights to the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, the OE handguards must be removed.

Note: When fitting EP Bar End Weights & EP Brake Lever Protector Kits, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Weights & EP Brake Lever Protector Kits are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
