What is Spindle Bobbins Crash Protection?

Manufactured from injection-moulded matt black nylon, EP Spindle Bobbins for the BMW S 1000 XR TE offer robust crash protection. With the additional support from the aluminium inner, the spindle bobbins aim to be the first to receive impact in an incident and hold the expensive front forks, brake calipers and rear swingarm away from harm. The innovative EP design allows the nylon bobbins to rotate above the aluminium to decrease wear and stress on the wheel.

Normal excellent quality

It always pleases me when I receive my Evotech parcels, packaging and quality is second to none, these were easy to fit, would advise to use a torque wrench, my whole bikes is protected with EP products, some purchased direct and some through third party stockists.
My only grumble is that the range is limited for this bike, I really wanted an exhaust hanger (got them on my other bikes) but got a reply to my email saying they wont be making one meaning I had no option but to buy one from there biggest competitor which wasn't ideal!
