(Std) Yamaha R6 2006/7/8 Tail Tidy/ Fender Eliminator - Standard Indicator
This Tail Tidy retains the original indicators and is fitted with a micro LED licence plate light
Easy to fit, supplied with instructions and all necessary fixings.
Fits models 2006/2007/2008. No modifications to the machine are required.
Kit Contents:
1x Instruction Sheet
2x Stickers
1x Spare LED Bulb
4x M6 x 30mm screws
4x 6mm Nuts
5x Cable Ties
2x Bullet Connectors
1x Stick on Reflector
2 x M4 x 8mm Countersunk Screws
4xM6 washers (black)
1x Small sealing plate.
(Do not shorten the LED wires)
1. Remove the rear seat/cowl.
2. Undo the four screws that hold the original fender in position.
3. Unplug the wires for the indicators and number plate light.
4. Attach the number plate holder and the number plate holder support together using the 2 M4 CSK screws supplied.
5. Release the indicators and fit them to the new Tail Tidy. If the plastic inserts are hard to fit into the rubber - smear a little washing up liquid around them.
6 Push the wires through the hole in the machined sealing plate.
7. Push the wires back through the hole in the under tray and plug them back in. Connect the new LED number plate wires;
Black-Black and Red - Red/Blue.
8. Bolt the new tail tidy in place.
9. Refit the seat/cowl.
10. Check all of the electrics work correctly.
