(Std) Yamaha R6 2001-02 Tail Tidy/ Fender Eliminator- Standard indicator
This Tail Tidy retains the machine original indicators and is fitted with a micro LED licence plate light.
Kit Contents:
1x Instruction Sheet
2x Stickers
1x Stick on Reflector
2x Male Bullet Connectors
6x Cable Ties
1x Spare LED Bulb
2x Thin Washers
2x Thick Washers
4x 6mm Nuts
Fitting Instructions:
(Do not shorten the LED wires)
1. Remove the rear seat/cowl.
2. Undo the four screws that hold the numberplate bracket in position.
3. Remove the undertray - to remove the plastic fasteners press the centre and pull the whole fastener out. The undertray should then separate from the seat/cowl.
4. Unplug the wires for the indicators and numberplate light.
5. Release the indicators and fit them to the new bracket - to ease the fitting of the indicators smear a little washing up liquid around the rubber.
6. Push the wires back through the hole in the undertray and plug them back in. Connect the new numberplate wires;
Black-Black and Red-Blue.
7. Place 2 thin washers to the front and 2 thick washers to the back.
8. Refit the undertray.
9. Bolt the new bracket in place.
10. Refit the seat/cowl.
11. Check all of the electrics work correctly.
