(Mini) Yamaha R1 2002/3, R6 2003/4/5 Tail Tidy/ Fender Eliminator-Mini Indicator
This Tail Tidy is designed for use with aftermarket indicators and is fitted with amicro LED licence plate light. PLEASE NOTE: Mini indicators not included, but are available seperately in the lighting section.
Kit Contents:
1x Instruction Sheet
1x Stick on Reflector
6x Cable Ties
4x 6mm Nuts
2x Male Bullet Connectors
1x Spare LED Bulb
2x Stickers
4x Spacer Washers
Fitting Instructions:
(Do not shorten the LED wires)
1. Remove the rear seat/cowl.
2. Undo the four screws that hold the number plate bracket in position.
3. Remove the undertray - to remove the plastic fasteners press the centre and pull the whole fastener out. Slide the undertray forward about 5-10mm, it should then separate.
4. Unplug the wires for the indicators and number plate light.
5. Release the indicators and fit them to the new bracket. If the plastic inserts are hard to fit into the rubber - smear a little washing up liquid around them.
6. Push the wires back through the hole in the under tray and plug them back in. Connect the new LED number plate wires;
Black-Black and Red - Red/Blue.
7. Refit the under tray.
8. Bolt the new tail tidy in place. (Using the 4 spacer washers)
9. Refit the seat/cowl.
10. Check all of the electrics work correctly.
