(Std) Yamaha FZ1 Fazer(Faired) 2006/7/8 Tail Tidy/ Fender Eliminator - Standard Indicator
This Tail Tidy retains the original indicators and is fitted with a micro LED licence plate light
Kit Contents:
1x Instruction Sheet
2 x Stickers
1x Spare LED Bulb
4 x M8 Flange Nuts
6 x Zip Ties
4 x M8 Black Washers
2 x Male Bullet Connectors
1x Reflector
4 x M8 x 30 Black Button Head S/S Bolts
2 x M4 x 8 Black Countersunk Screw
Fitting Instructions:
(Do not shorten the LED wires)
1. Remove both seats (Refer to owners manual)
2. Observe and note routing of wiring, to ease re-installation.
3. Unplug the two indicators wires and the number plate light wires.
(This may require moving the fuse holder to access the number plate and R/H indicator wires)
4. Undo the 4 bolts that hold the stock fender in position.
5. Remove the 8 press fasteners that hold the under tray in place (to do this press the centre and then remove the whole plastic fastener).
6. The fender the under tray should now come away from the bike (There is a lug on the under tray just below the rear light).
7. Transfer the necessary electrics from the stock fender to the Evotech Performance tail tidy (Fix the two male bullet connectors when all wires have been fed through the under tray holes)
8. Reverse steps 6-1.
9. Check the electrics work correctly and all fasteners are secure.
NB: You may find it unnecessary to remove the under tray on the "faired" version, this is due to a different design by Yamaha allowing easier access to the wiring.
