(Std) Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja 2007/8. Tail Tidy / Fender Eliminator - Standard Indicator.

Featuring the same fully integrated, CE approved, Red combination rear lght assembly used on our 2007 CBR600RR Tail Tidy,(Comes complete with non CE approved clear lens also included, as shown on Mini Indicator version) The whole unit is significantly smaller, lighter and neater than the original rear end. Thanks to Robspeed Motorcycles in Grimsby for the loan of the development bike.

Fitting Instructions:
(Do not shorten the LED wires)
This tail tidy, although really quite simple, will take a little time and thought to fit. This is mainly due to the construction of your machine and the number of original parts needing to be removed. Give yourself a little time and space. The result is more than worth the effort.
1. Remove the Pillion seat.
2. Remove L/H and R/H side panels (screws and pull out)
3. Remove front seat (Screws).
4. Remove rear body panel (7 Screws) Flex carefully and lift to one side.
5. Loosen screws in R/H exhaust cover. Remove L/H exhaust cover (2 Screws on top) VERY CAREFULLY EASE FORWARD AND OFF -Very small tags along rear seam
6. Remove small panel over rear light by pushing in centres of plastic plugs and lift away.
7. Remove L/H and R/h indicators (3 Screws) and unplug connectors.
8. Remove indicator mounting plate, (2 Screws)
9. Disconnect rear lights, remove rear light/numberplate assembly (2 Screws each side)
10. Fit R/H bracket to exhaust and tighten using 2 screws/washers supplied
11. Loop 2 cable ties to L/H bracket from outer side and loosely attach bracket to exhaust.
12 Assemble indicators to back plate, insert 2 cable ties loosely from the inside of the bracket.
13. Offer up backplate to mounting brackets, feed R/H indicator wire through cable ties across and out through L/H bracket. Support bracket.
14. Offer up rear light, pass wires through rear plate, through L/H cable tie and out through L/H bracket. Tighten cable ties on backplate and fix rear light using two nuts and washers supplied.
15. Pass the wires up through the big hole in L/H bracket, through cable ties neatly and tighten cable ties, at this point tighten L/H bracket fixing screws.
16. Fix backplate to mounting brackets using 2 c/sunk screws supplied.
17. Re: connect indicators.
18. Connect rear light wires using connectors supplied, as follows:

(ignore stock connector for old numberplate light as it is now illuminated by rear light)
